Founded in 2000, the Association of Microfinance Institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina (AMFI) is the leading network representing the microfinance sector in the country. As a non-governmental and non-profit organization, its mission is to strengthen and develop the microfinance industry through advocacy, capacity building, promotion of best practices, and creating a favorable legal and regulatory environment for its member institutions to serve entrepreneurs and low-income households.
