Founded in 2008, the Association for Privately Administered Pensions in Romania (APAPR) is a non-governmental, apolitical, and non-profit organization that brings together the administrators of mandatory private pensions (Pillar II) and voluntary private pensions (Pillar III) in the country. Its primary mission is to represent the interests of the private pension industry, promote the development and stability of the system, and contribute to public education regarding long-term savings. APAPR acts as a key dialogue partner with regulatory authorities, the government, and the public on matters related to private pensions.
