Yieldy was the world's first DeFi protocol built on the Algorand blockchain, launched in June 2021. Its mission was to provide a suite of tools for users to earn rewards and increase their potential yield through staking, a no-loss prize game, and liquidity pool farming. As a key project in the early Algorand ecosystem, it aimed to attract liquidity and users to the network. Citing changing market conditions and challenges within the Algorand ecosystem, Yieldy announced it would be winding down its operations, which it officially did on March 31, 2023.
