The Water Infrastructure Finance Authority of Arizona (WIFA) is an independent state agency dedicated to protecting public health and the environment for Arizona communities. Established to finance the construction, rehabilitation, and improvement of water, wastewater, and other water quality facilities, WIFA provides low-cost loans and other financial assistance to public and private drinking water and wastewater systems. Its mission is to maintain and improve water quality in the state by making these essential infrastructure projects affordable for local communities.
