Wanigas Credit Union operates as a division of Financial Plus Credit Union following a merger that was finalized on December 1, 2021. Originally founded in 1952 in Saginaw, Michigan, Wanigas served employees of the Michigan Bell Telephone Company. Now, as part of the larger Financial Plus Credit Union (founded in 1952 as Cheve-Flint Federal Credit Union), it continues its mission as a not-for-profit financial cooperative. The combined entity offers comprehensive banking products, including checking and savings accounts, auto loans, mortgages, credit cards, and investment services, to members throughout the state of Michigan.
