Established in 1993 by an Act of Parliament, the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC) is the primary financial regulator for the Republic of Vanuatu. Its mission is to operate an effective and efficient corporate registry, supervise the non-banking financial sector, and enhance Vanuatu's reputation as a credible international financial center. The VFSC is responsible for the incorporation of companies, registration of trusts and charities, and the licensing and supervision of various financial entities, including those involved in securities dealing, credit business, and international insurance.
