Ushuru Sacco Society Limited was registered in 1971, initially drawing its membership from the employees of the Kenya Revenue Authority (formerly the Income Tax Department). It has since expanded its common bond to include employees from other government ministries, parastatals, county governments, and select private organizations. The Sacco's mission is to mobilize savings and deposits to provide competitive and innovative financial solutions that promote the socio-economic well-being of its members and stakeholders. It operates as a Deposit-Taking Sacco, licensed and regulated by the Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA) of Kenya.
