The Guelph Student Investment Council (SIC) is an undergraduate, student-run organization that actively manages a portion of the University of Guelph's endowment, known as the University of Guelph Student Investment Fund. Established in 2011 with an initial donation of $50,000, the council's mission is to provide students with unparalleled hands-on experience in equity research, portfolio management, and capital markets. The SIC follows a long-term, value-oriented investment philosophy, aiming to educate its members and generate returns for the university.
