The Digital Asset Association of South Africa (DASA), formerly known as The Crypto Asset Association of South Africa (CAASA) until its rebranding in early 2024, is a self-regulatory organization (SRO) for the South African digital and crypto asset industry. Its mission is to foster a safe, compliant, and ethical ecosystem to promote the responsible adoption of digital assets. DASA engages with regulators, policymakers, and the public to provide education, develop industry standards, and offer guidance on best practices for its members, which include exchanges, wallet providers, and other industry participants.
