Telstra Super
Information by Research Trustfinance
Originally established in 1990 as a dedicated superannuation (pension) fund for employees of the Telstra Group, Telstra Super grew to become one of Australia's largest corporate funds. As a "profit-for-members" fund, it was open to the general public, offering a range of investment options, financial advice, and insurance products. In a significant move to increase scale and enhance member benefits, Telstra Super officially merged with Australian Retirement Trust (ART), one of Australia's largest super funds, on April 6, 2024. Former Telstra Super members are now members of ART, though the "Telstra Super" branding is maintained for their specific plan within the larger trust.
