Tech Bureau
Information by Research Trustfinance
Founded in 2014, Tech Bureau, Corp. is a Japan-based technology company specializing in blockchain and cryptocurrency solutions. It initially gained prominence as the operator of the cryptocurrency exchange "Zaif" and for developing "Mijin," a private enterprise blockchain based on NEM protocol. In 2017, the company launched "COMSA," an integrated platform to help companies conduct Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs). The company's trajectory significantly changed after its Zaif exchange suffered a major hack in September 2018, resulting in the loss of approximately $60 million in digital assets. Following the incident and subsequent regulatory pressure from Japan's Financial Services Agency (FSA), Tech Bureau transferred the Zaif exchange business to Fisco Digital Asset Group. Since then, Tech Bureau has focused on its core technology offerings, including the continued development of Mijin and the COMSA platform for token and NFT solutions.
