Founded in 1899 as the Brown Telephone Company, Sprint Corporation grew to become one of the largest long-distance providers and mobile network operators in the United States. Known for its extensive fiber optic network and innovative "pin drop" advertising, Sprint was a key player in the US wireless market. On April 1, 2020, Sprint completed its merger with T-Mobile US, Inc. Since the merger, the Sprint brand has been phased out, with customers, retail stores, and network infrastructure being migrated and rebranded under the T-Mobile name.
