The Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) is a Government-Owned and-Controlled Corporation (GOCC) of the Philippines, established by Executive Order No. 272 in 2004. As a key agency under the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), its primary mission is to empower and uplift the living conditions of underprivileged and homeless Filipino families. SHFC achieves this by developing and administering social housing programs, with its flagship initiative being the Community Mortgage Program (CMP), which assists legally organized associations of informal settlers in acquiring and developing the land they occupy.
