Founded in 1956 at Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, Security Service Federal Credit Union (SSFCU) has grown to become one of the largest credit unions in the United States. As a not-for-profit, member-owned financial cooperative, its mission is to improve the financial lives of its members.
