Established in 1957, the Quadrant Superannuation Plan was created to serve employees in Tasmania's transport industry. As an industry super fund, it is run to profit its members, not shareholders. On 1 April 2021, Quadrant Super merged with Tasplan to form Spirit Super, a larger national fund. While the Quadrant brand and website are maintained for its specific member base, it now operates under the trustee Spirit Super Pty Ltd and is part of the larger Spirit Super fund.
