Established in 2005, the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority (QFCRA) is the independent regulatory body for the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC). Its mission is to uphold a principles-based regulatory framework that aligns with international best practices to foster financial stability, market confidence, and the protection of customers and investors. The QFCRA authorises and supervises a wide range of financial institutions, including banks, insurance companies, and investment firms, ensuring they operate with integrity, transparency, and prudence.
