The company provided comprehensive services including claims processing, medical management, risk management, and wellness programs for employers, municipalities, and other groups primarily in the northeastern United States. In 2017, POMCO was acquired by UMR, a UnitedHealthcare company, to expand its TPA services. Following the acquisition, the entity was rebranded and now operates as Pro-Claim, part of HR Simplified Administrators Inc.
