Established in 1999, the Polish Power Exchange (TGE) is a key institution in Poland's energy sector and a part of the Warsaw Stock Exchange (GPW) Group. Its mission is to create a transparent, competitive, and secure market for energy and related commodities. TGE operates various trading platforms, including a spot and forward market for electricity and gas, a market for property rights from renewable energy sources, and an auction platform for CO2 emission allowances. As a Nominated Electricity Market Operator (NEMO) for the Polish pricing area, TGE is an integral part of the European single electricity market.
