Originally chartered in 1953 as the Florence DuPont Employees Federal Credit Union, Palmetto First Federal Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution. Its mission is to provide its members with competitive and professional financial services in a friendly, courteous atmosphere. As a credit union, it returns profits to its members in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and fewer fees. Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in Florence County, South Carolina.
