Founded in 2013, ONPEX GmbH was a regulated financial technology company that operated a comprehensive Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform. Its core offering included multi-currency IBAN accounts, SEPA and SWIFT payment processing, and foreign exchange services, all accessible via a single API. ONPEX targeted other FinTechs, financial institutions, and digital businesses, enabling them to embed banking and payment functionalities into their own products. In December 2020, ONPEX was acquired by Vitesse, a UK-based FinTech specializing in global payment and treasury management solutions. The acquisition integrated ONPEX's technology and licenses into the Vitesse network, enhancing its capabilities and European presence. The ONPEX brand has since been absorbed into Vitesse.
