NRW.INVEST GmbH is the economic development agency of the German federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW). Wholly owned by the state, its mission is to attract and assist international companies with their investment projects and establishment in NRW. Originally founded in 1960 as the "Gesellschaft für Wirtschaftsförderung" (GfW), it was rebranded to NRW.INVEST in 2007. The agency provides comprehensive, confidential support to investors, offering services such as location analysis, information on legal and tax frameworks, and assistance with administrative and approval processes, all free of charge.
