NPF Microfinance Bank Plc was established by the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) and incorporated on May 19, 1993, as a Community Bank. It later converted to a Microfinance Bank in 2007 following a Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) directive. The bank is publicly listed on the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX) and is licensed and regulated by the CBN.
