Founded in 1963, National Investment Bank (NIB) was Ghana's first development bank, created with the mission to foster rapid industrial growth in the newly independent nation. While its initial focus was on financing and supporting industrial enterprises, NIB has since transitioned into a universal bank. It is majority-owned by the Government of Ghana and now offers a comprehensive suite of financial products and services, including corporate banking, retail banking, and investment services to a diverse clientele of individuals, businesses, and institutions across Ghana.
