Information by Research Trustfinance
Founded in 1968, the National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) was one of the largest and most respected banks in the United Arab Emirates, serving retail, corporate, and institutional clients. For nearly five decades, it played a pivotal role in the economic development of the region, expanding its network across 17 countries. In April 2017, NBAD completed a historic merger with First Gulf Bank (FGB) to create a new, unified entity named First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB). Today, FAB is the UAE's largest bank and one of the world's largest financial institutions, continuing the legacy of its predecessors by offering a comprehensive range of financial solutions, products, and services.
