Mohr Davidow Ventures (MDV) was a prominent Silicon Valley venture capital firm founded in 1983. For over 30 years, it focused on investing in and nurturing early-stage companies across various sectors, including software, life sciences, networking, and clean technology. The firm was known for its hands-on approach with its portfolio companies. In 2013, MDV officially announced it would not raise a new fund and would cease making new investments, shifting its focus to managing its existing portfolio through to its eventual wind-down.
