The company was created through a merger between Mashroey and Tasaheel (MNT), a leading microfinance provider, and Halan, a super-app and e-payment provider. Its digital ecosystem offers a wide range of services including small business and consumer loans, Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL), a digital wallet, bill payments, and e-commerce. MNT-Halan's mission is to digitally bank the unbanked and substitute cash with electronic solutions, and it became Egypt's first private, non-bank company to be valued at over $1 billion.
