Founded in 1989, Merchants' Choice Payment Solutions (MCPS) grew to be one of the largest privately-held payment processors in the United States. The company specialized in providing comprehensive payment solutions to businesses, including credit and debit card processing, point-of-sale (POS) systems, gift card and loyalty programs, and merchant cash advances. In August 2017, MCPS was acquired by Paysafe Group, a leading global payments provider. Since the acquisition, its services, technology, and operations have been fully integrated into Paysafe's U.S. payment processing division.
