Founded in 1978, the Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF) serves as the financial extension of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS). Its mission is to empower and support LCMS ministries by offering investments to its members and, in turn, using those funds to provide customized loans and support services to LCMS churches, schools, and rostered church workers. LCEF facilitates the building of churches and schools, funds mission expansion, and provides individuals and organizations with a way to invest their money in support of the church's work.
