Established on September 1, 1946, the Land Bank of Taiwan was founded to support the government's land and agricultural policies following World War II. It is wholly owned by the Ministry of Finance of Taiwan (R.O.C.). While its core mission focuses on real estate and agricultural financing, it has evolved into a full-service commercial bank offering a wide range of services including corporate and consumer banking, wealth management, deposits, loans, and international banking. The bank operates an extensive network of domestic branches and has expanded its presence internationally with offices in major financial hubs.
