Lahore Stock Exchange
Information by Research Trustfinance
Founded in October 1970, the Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) was one of the three major stock exchanges in Pakistan. For over four decades, it served as a key institution for capital formation and investment in the country's northern region. In 2016, following the Stock Exchanges (Corporatisation, Demutualization and Integration) Act of 2012, the Lahore Stock Exchange, along with the Karachi Stock Exchange and Islamabad Stock Exchange, merged to form the consolidated Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). This integration aimed to create a single, more efficient, and liquid national capital market. The former LSE now operates as a regional office and trading hall for the PSX.
