Established under the Malaysian Cooperatives Act 1993, Koperasi Pengurusan Hartanah Selangor Berhad (KOHATA) is a cooperative with a mission to become a premier property-focused cooperative in the state of Selangor. Its core business involves pooling capital from its members to invest in, develop, and manage real estate assets. In addition to its primary property-related activities, KOHATA also provides supplementary financial services to its members, such as Islamic pawnbroking (Ar-Rahnu), to enhance member benefits and welfare.
