Kerala Gramin Bank (KGB) is India's largest Regional Rural Bank (RRB), formed on July 8, 2013, through the amalgamation of the erstwhile South Malabar Gramin Bank and North Malabar Gramin Bank. It is sponsored by Canara Bank and is jointly owned by the Government of India, the Government of Kerala, and Canara Bank. The bank's mission is to provide accessible and affordable banking and financial services to the rural and semi-urban populations of Kerala, thereby fostering financial inclusion and contributing to the economic development of the state.
