Jaxx, also known as Jaxx Liberty, was a popular digital asset wallet created by Decentral Inc., a Canadian blockchain company founded by Ethereum co-founder Anthony Di Iorio. Launched in 2016, its mission was to provide a simple, unified platform for users to manage a wide range of cryptocurrencies in a non-custodial environment, meaning users retained full control of their private keys. The wallet was available across multiple platforms, including iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, and as a Chrome extension. In March 2023, Decentral Inc. officially announced it was sunsetting the Jaxx Liberty wallet, removing it from all app stores and ceasing all support.
