Established in 2009, Invest India is a non-profit venture under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. Its primary mission is to facilitate and promote foreign direct investment into the country by providing sector-specific and state-specific information to investors, offering support with location identification, expediting regulatory approvals, and providing hand-holding services. The agency works with investors through the entire investment lifecycle, from pre-investment research to post-investment support.
