Founded in 1920, the Illinois Mortgage Bankers Association (IMBA) is a not-for-profit trade association dedicated to serving the real estate finance industry within the state of Illinois. As the recognized voice of the mortgage industry in the state, the IMBA's mission is to promote homeownership and responsible lending practices.
