Originally chartered in 1963 as IBM Poughkeepsie Employees Federal Credit Union, Hudson Valley Credit Union (HVCU) has grown to become one of the largest credit unions in the United States. As a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative, its mission is to guide members toward their financial potential and support the local community. HVCU offers a comprehensive suite of financial products, including personal and business banking, loans, mortgages, investments, and insurance services, reinvesting its profits back into the institution to provide better rates and lower fees for its members.
