HomeTown Bankshares Corporation was the parent company of HomeTown Bank, a community-focused financial institution originally chartered in 1908. The bank was dedicated to providing personal and business banking services, including checking, savings, loans, and wealth management, primarily to customers in the Roanoke and New River Valleys of Virginia. In October 2023, HomeTown Bankshares Corporation completed a merger with American National Bankshares, Inc. Consequently, HomeTown Bank's operations and branches were integrated into American National Bank & Trust Company, continuing its community banking mission under the new brand.
