Established in 1986, the Haliburton County Development Corporation (HCDC) is a Community Futures Development Corporation (CFDC) funded by the Government of Canada through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario). Governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, HCDC's mission is to support community economic development and help entrepreneurs succeed. The organization provides crucial services including business loans up to $300,000, business counselling, and strategic community planning to create and maintain employment and diversify the local economy.
