Established in 2002, Generali China Life Insurance Co., Ltd. was the first Sino-foreign joint venture life insurance company to be approved by the Chinese government following the country's accession to the WTO. It is a collaboration between the Italian-based Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A. and China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC). The company is dedicated to providing a wide range of insurance products, including life, accident, and health insurance, as well as investment and wealth management services, to individual and corporate clients through a multi-channel distribution strategy that includes agents, bancassurance, and group insurance.
