GAIA - Grenoble Alpes Initiative Active is a member of the Initiative France network, the leading associative financing network for entrepreneurs in France. As an "association loi 1901" (non-profit organization), GAIA's mission is to foster local economic development and job creation by aiding in the creation, takeover, and growth of businesses. They achieve this by mobilizing financial and human resources, primarily through offering zero-interest "prêts d'honneur" (honor loans) to entrepreneurs, which strengthens their equity and facilitates access to traditional bank loans. In addition to financing, GAIA provides crucial support services, including mentorship and networking opportunities, to ensure the long-term success of the projects they support.
