Founded in 2001, FTEN (Future-Techs) specialized in developing high-performance, real-time risk management systems for financial institutions. Its core products allowed brokerage firms, clearing firms, and trading groups to monitor and control trading risk across multiple asset classes and markets on a pre-trade, at-trade, and post-trade basis. In December 2010, NASDAQ OMX Group (now Nasdaq, Inc.) acquired FTEN to enhance its market technology offerings. FTEN's technology has since been fully integrated into the NASDAQ Risk Platform, a comprehensive solution that provides real-time risk management for exchanges, clearinghouses, and broker-dealers globally.
