Founded in 2002, First Chatham Bank was a locally owned and operated community bank headquartered in Savannah, Georgia. The bank focused on serving the financial needs of individuals and businesses in Chatham County and the surrounding coastal Georgia region. It offered a comprehensive suite of products including personal and business checking and savings accounts, commercial loans, real estate and construction loans, and mortgages. In November 2021, First Chatham Bank was acquired by First Bancorp and its operations and branches were merged into First Bank, which now serves these communities.
