Founded in 1955, Deseret First Federal Credit Union (DFCU) was established to serve the financial needs of employees of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It has since expanded its field of membership to include Church members and their families. As a not-for-profit financial institution, DFCU's mission is to provide its members with favorable rates on savings and loans, lower fees, and a range of personal and business banking services, including checking and savings accounts, mortgages, auto loans, and credit cards, all while operating under the cooperative principle of "people helping people."
