Founded in 1955 to serve the employees of Caterpillar Tractor Co. in Decatur, IL, Decatur Earthmover Credit Union (DECU) has since grown into a full-service financial institution. As a not-for-profit cooperative, its mission is to prioritize its members' financial well-being over profits by offering competitive rates, lower fees, and a range of personal and business financial products. Membership is now open to employees of over 50 Select Employee Groups (SEGs) and anyone living or working within a 15-county region in Central Illinois.
