Coya was a Berlin-based insurtech company founded in 2016. Its mission was to offer transparent, flexible, and digitally-accessible insurance products, starting with home contents and private liability insurance. The company focused on a user-centric experience, allowing customers to manage their policies entirely through an app. In January 2022, Coya was acquired by the French insurtech company Luko. Following the acquisition, Coya AG was renamed Luko Insurance AG and now operates as the German arm of the Luko brand, continuing to offer digital insurance services under the new name.
