Founded on October 26, 1999, by a group of 26 employees, Cooperfemsa is a credit cooperative (credit union) dedicated to serving the employees of the Femsa System in Brazil. Its mission is to promote the financial and social development of its members by providing a range of financial solutions, including credit, investments, and insurance, with competitive and fair rates. The cooperative operates as a regulated financial institution under the supervision of the Central Bank of Brazil.
