The company was an active participant in the Brazilian financial market, providing investment and brokerage services. However, it encountered severe financial difficulties, leading to intervention by Brazilian financial authorities. In the mid-1990s, the Central Bank of Brazil decreed the company's extrajudicial liquidation. Consequently, its official registration with the CVM (Comissão de Valores Mobiliários), Brazil's securities regulator, was formally canceled on April 8, 1997, marking the end of its operations.
