The Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) is a specialist investor and Australian Government-owned entity, established by the Clean Energy Finance Corporation Act 2012. Its mission is to facilitate increased flows of finance into the clean energy sector. The CEFC invests commercially to increase the deployment of clean energy technologies, acting as a catalyst to attract private sector investment by financing projects and businesses in renewable energy, energy efficiency, and low-emissions technologies.
