Clarient Global
Information by Research Trustfinance
Clarient Global LLC was launched in 2014 as a joint venture by The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) and six founding global banks: Barclays, BNY Mellon, Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, and State Street. The company's mission was to create a single, standardized platform to help financial institutions manage the entire client lifecycle, reducing the cost and risk of compliance with regulations like Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and FATCA. In 2017, Clarient was acquired by IHS Markit and combined with their kyc.com service. Following the merger of IHS Markit and S&P Global in 2022, Clarient's original services are now integrated into the S&P Global Market Intelligence division under "KYC Services" and the "Counterparty Manager" platform.
