Ciudad Microempresas S.A. was a Colombian financing company regulated by the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia, dedicated to providing microcredit and financial services to micro-entrepreneurs, with a special focus on empowering women. It was part of the broader "Fundación Mundo Mujer" ecosystem. In 2015, as part of a strategic consolidation, Ciudad Microempresas S.A. was absorbed by Banco Mundo Mujer S.A. All of its operations, clients, and assets are now part of Banco Mundo Mujer, which continues the original mission of promoting economic and social development for low-income communities through accessible banking and credit services.
